A self-contained, portable, battery-powered welder with a 24V internal battery. On a full charge you'll get roughly 150cm (~60in) of weld bead, for up to about 15 minutes of trigger time — actual results depend on material thickness, wire size, wire speed, and your distance from the material.
Output is roughly 100–125A with 0.8mm (.030") wire, or 125–150A with 0.9mm (.035") wire, depending on wire speed. Wire feed speed is adjustable; output voltage isn't. It takes a standard 0.5kg or 1kg (1lb or 2lb) spool of flux-core wire — gasless only, no gas accommodation.
If your internal battery runs out mid-repair, the optional Karnage Kables let you connect a pair of external 12V batteries to keep going. Every Karnage Welder ships with a NOCO Genius5 smart charger (with an AGM mode to look after battery life), and we also carry an optional 200W inverter if you want to run that charger from a vehicle or RV.
Case size is approximately 41 x 30 x 18cm, and the whole unit weighs around 20kg (44lb) — about the same as a car battery.

Every Karnage Welder comes with a NOCO Genius5 charger and cigarette-lighter adapter cord — plug in and go. Charging from empty (or from the point where weld quality starts to suffer) takes around 3–4 hours, whether you're using the charger directly or via the optional 200W inverter.

Only if your vehicle runs a 24V electrical system — most vehicles are 12V only, so a direct connection isn't compatible.
Yes — with the optional 200W inverter, you can run the NOCO Genius5 charger from a standard 12V source.
Yes, always. Sensitive vehicle electronics can be damaged by welding current even when the battery seems unrelated, so disconnecting is the safe default.
Also connect your earth clamp as close to the weld as you can — electricity follows the path of least resistance, so grounding somewhere like the chassis when you're welding on suspension components can send current through unexpected paths. Bushings and other suspension parts can act as poor conductors, redirecting current through things like brake lines and causing damage.
Make sure the 3-position function switch is set to "Internal Battery Charge," and that neither circuit breaker has tripped. Confirm your NOCO Genius5 charger is set to AGM mode and has gone through a full cycle — it's finished once only the green light is pulsing.
